This story mask is made of recycled glass and was carved by west coast artist Mark Garfield. The masks tell the traditional Pacific Northwest legend of Bak'was, the wild man of the woods. . Bak'Was lives in the country of Ghosts and is the Chief of woodsman and the keeper of drowned souls. It is unusual to see Bak'Was but be careful if you do for he will entice you into his ghost world by offering food. Generally, Bak'Was is shy and afraid of humans.
